Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duke Evans told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duke Evans!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Parker looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Evans!
A nice elbow there by Parker.
Parker moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Evans has worked his arm free - good work by Evans!
Parker tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Parker working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Evans sneaks out the side door and pushes Parker away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Parker fails with a takedown attempt.
Parker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Evans tries to avoid it but Parker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Evans to the ground. Evans escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Parker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Parker is breathing heavily.

Evans clinches.
Evans breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Parker closes the distance and clinches up with Evans, looking for a takedown. Parker pushes Evans against the cage but Evans circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Parker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Evans is fending him off so far but Parker persists. Nope, Evans circles away and we're back to standing.
Evans looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Evans tries to pass the half guard into mount. Parker knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Evans wants to work for an arm triangle but Parker is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Evans is looking to advance position but Parker won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Parker wants to get back to full guard.
Parker is working hard here to advance position.
Parker trying to hold on to Evans's head to control him but Evans postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Parker shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Evans decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Parker's guard.
Parker looking for a sweep. Not yet Parker, not yet.
Parker pushes a forearm under Evans's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Evans is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
