Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Smit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Vortex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smit comes to the cage accompanied by Can't be Touched. Vortex has chosen Run This Town - Jay-z as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smit lands a head kick that stumbles Vortex and the fighters go to the mat.
Vortex is rocked!
It looks like Anthony Vortex has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smit trying to control the position from guard on top but Vortex is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Smit would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Vortex throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smit's waist but Smit gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vortex off to one side.

Smit throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Smit shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vortex manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
