Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between NS PitBull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romulo Teixeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teixeira stuffs the takedown.

PitBull feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

PitBull has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

PitBull shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Teixeira manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
PitBull postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Teixeira is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of PitBull, into his guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Teixeira is looking to regain half guard here but PitBull keeps moving and retains side control.
NS PitBull overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Teixeira tries to clinch but fails miserably
and PitBull counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Teixeira's guard now.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Teixeira is on top in guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for PitBull, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
