Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Davol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ahkmed Ufalopolaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davol comes to the cage accompanied by Rammstein - Links 2 3 4. Ufalopolaus has chosen Shabnami Soraya - Az Kudumi Safar as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ahkmed Ufalopolaus!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davol tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ufalopolaus was well out of range. Poor timing from Davol.
Some wild striking there from Davol.
Davol fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Davol lands with a cross.
Ufalopolaus throws a lazy right hand but Davol sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Davol. Ufalopolaus does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ufalopolaus throws a hook to the side of Davol's head but Davol sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ufalopolaus misses with a body shot.
Ufalopolaus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Davol looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Davol clinches up with Ufalopolaus and pushes him back against the cage.
Davol can't find room to land a body shot as Ufalopolaus controls the action.
Davol blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Ufalopolaus fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Davol misses with a shot to the kidneys.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Davol just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ufalopolaus's brow.
Ufalopolaus throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Ufalopolaus tries to pull guard but Davol won't allow it.
Still in the clinch, Ufalopolaus scores with a nice short uppercut.

Davol takes a shot to the head.
Davol is pushing Ufalopolaus up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Davol throws a head punch that misses.
Davol misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Ufalopolaus successfully pulls guard.
Ufalopolaus keeping full guard, as Davol tries to pass.
Davol stopping the sweep attempt from Ufalopolaus.
Davolis looking to pass into half guard but Ufalopolaus pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Ufalopolaus is in guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Davol has his foot on Ufalopolaus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ufalopolaus works his way back into a safe position though.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ufalopolaus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ufalopolaus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Ufalopolaus trying to control but Davol is working from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Nice shot lands for Ufalopolaus.
Davol takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ufalopolaus swings for the body but Davol moves out of range.
Davol with a hook.
It looks like Ahkmed Ufalopolaus has been cut.
Davol does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Davol ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Davol misses with a body punch
and Ufalopolaus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ufalopolaus thuds a left hand into Davol's body.
Ufalopolaus throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Davol throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Davol closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ufalopolaus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Ufalopolaus is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Davol has latched onto it... Big trouble! Davol pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Ufalopolaus is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Davol!
