Alvarez fails to land the takedown.
Mercurius lands a big head kick that sends Alvarez tumbling to the mat! Mercurius takes a step backwards and waves Alvarez back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Alvarez is rocked!
Mercurius defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Alvarez.
The fighters circle, before Mercurius throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Alvarez's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Mercurius lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
