The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jofre misses with a hook.
Martin moves out of range of the strikes.
Martin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jofre sprawls well initially but Martin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Martin tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jofre controls his leg.
Martin seems to be working for a kimura but Jofre defends the submission attempt.
Jofre tries to get to full guard but Martin has control of the leg.
Jofre keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Martin is keen to just control but Jofre is a slippery customer.
Jofre trying to control from the bottom.

Jofre on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martin seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Jofre is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
