Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chest Brocknert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Brocknert wants to control but Daniel is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Daniel seems to be working for a kimura but Brocknert defends the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daniel decides to stand up.
Brocknert shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Daniel counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Brocknert!
Daniel goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Brocknert turns into him and now he's in Daniel's guard.
Daniel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brocknert. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Brocknert has gone for a leg lock! Daniel slips out almost immediately though and dives into Brocknert's guard.

Brocknert is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daniel is looking for the choke from the back position but Brocknert is controlling his hands well.
Daniel lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Brocknert hold on?!
Daniel lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Daniel. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

That's time! Brocknert's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Brocknert lands a nice hook to Daniel's body. Daniel takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Daniel counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Daniel throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Brocknert was covering up waiting for the punch and Daniel finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Daniel wants to get up but he can't break Brocknert's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Daniel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brocknert swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Daniel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brocknert keeps working.
Brocknert is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Daniel moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Brocknert has worked his arm free - good work by Brocknert!

Daniel is looking to take a break and control but Brocknert is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Brocknert makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Brocknert.
Daniel wants to control from the top but Brocknert keeps moving.
Brocknert not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Daniel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brocknert swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Daniel drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brocknert looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brocknert looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brocknert!

Marco Daniel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

so Daniel counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Daniel wanted to stand there but Brocknert had control of the position.
Daniel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brocknert swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Marco Daniel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Daniel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
