Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong rushes Brinkley and presses him up against the cage.

Despite being in the dominant position, Ralph Kong just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Bobby Brinkley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ralph Kong.

Kong working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brinkley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brinkley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Kong counters with a single leg into guard. Brinkley didn't expect that.
Kong wants to control from the top but Brinkley keeps moving.

Kong throws and elbow that misses. Brinkley uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kong's guard. Nice move by Brinkley!

Brinkley is looking to stand up but Kong won't let him.

Kong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brinkley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kong is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Kong is looking to take a break and control but Brinkley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kong takes a little break here. Brinkley wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Kong is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brinkley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Brinkley is not content to let Kong control the position.
Kong is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Brinkley's shoulder. That is not cool.

Kong is working for a rear naked choke. Brinkley is not defending it well and Kong has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Brinkley refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Brinkley's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
