Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Victor Bresciani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ander Bil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bresciani kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Soulja Boy - Crank That (rock remix). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Victor Bresciani! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ander Bil! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bil lands a high kick!
Bil tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bil scoring well with a low kick there.
Bil fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bresciani scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Bil throws a head kick that Bresciani semi-blocks.
Bil drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! You can see the frustration on Bresciani's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bil lands a decent elbow from side control. Bil wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bresciani keeps working. Bresciani regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bresciani pushes Bil off looking to stand but Bil dives back in and keeps control.
Bil has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bresciani looking for submissions off his back. Bil missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bresciani gets full guard. Bresciani thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Bil postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Bil thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bresciani keeping moving, preventing Bil from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bresciani avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bil stands up over Bresciani, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Bil trying to control but Bresciani is working from the bottom. Bil decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bresciani, up you get! Bresciani clinches up against the cage. Bil pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bresciani looks to land a combination but Bil avoids it well. Bresciani scores with a jab to the body. Bil looks gassed! Bil closes the distance but Bresciani moves to the side and Bresciani counters with a shoot takedown. Bil fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bresciani stands up and waves to Bil to follow him. Bil misses with a takedown attempt and Bresciani counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bil's guard now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bresciani stands up and waves to Bil to follow him. Bresciani darts in and clinches Bil up against the cage. Bresciani has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bil uses from the top position. Bresciani is working an open guard so Bil takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Ander Bil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bresciani throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

A combination from Bresciani does no damage. Bresciani lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Bresciani moves into the clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bresciani's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bil is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bresciani. Bil misses with a takedown and Bresciani counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bil! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bil tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bresciani lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bresciani misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bil misses with a takedown attempt and Bresciani counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bil's guard now. Bresciani tries to stand but Bil is controlling from the bottom. Bresciani trying to control the position from guard on top but Bil is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bil pushes Bresciani off and scrambles back to his feet.
Bil fails with the takedown and Bresciani counters with a lovely straight right hand! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bresciani clinches. Bil tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Carlos Victor Bresciani has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ander Bil. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bresciani takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Bresciani's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bresciani shoots in looking for a takedown. Bil tries to sprawl out of it but Bresciani keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bil manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bil shoots and misses and Bresciani counters with a shoot takedown. Bil fights it but they end up in guard. Bil trying to keep a closed guard but Bresciani is proving a slippery customer.
Bresciani won't allow Bil to get back to his feet. Bresciani postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bil is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Bresciani stands and steps away. Bil gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bil tries for a takedown but Bresciani circles away easily and Bresciani counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Bresciani rushes Bil and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Bresciani gets control of Bil's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bresciani will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Bil wants to control from the top but Bresciani keeps moving. Bresciani is looking for a triangle but Bil pushes his legs off easily.
Bresciani manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bil manages to get himself to full guard.
Bil looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bil looking for a guillotine here but Bresciani defends easily.
Bil looking for a sweep. Not yet Bil, not yet. Carlos Victor Bresciani overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bresciani chips away with some ground and pound. Bresciani drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Bresciani as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Bil screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Bresciani! Nice submission victory there!
