Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Brone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neil Goldman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Brone might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to FINLANDIA by Jean Sibelius. Neil Goldman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brone.

Goldman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Brone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Brone is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Goldman can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Brone throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Goldman because Brone loaded up on that one.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Brone unloads with some shots from mount but Goldman bucks and avoids them well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brone has control of Goldman's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Goldman regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Goldman feints and then cracks Brone's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brone down.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Goldman, as that shot connected.
Brone looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Goldman is fending him off so far but Brone persists. Nope, Goldman circles away and we're back to standing.

Brone pivots, looking for a leg kick but Goldman is out of range and Brone settles back down.
Nice straight punches there by Goldman. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Goldman.
