Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Z (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Z comes into a darkened arena with his song building. New York kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Wanderlei Silva has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Wanderlei Silva seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Z fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silva manages to avoid it.
Silva takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Silva throws a lazy right hand but Z sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Z wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Z. Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.
A jab lands there for Z.
Z thows a body shot but no joy.

Z leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Silva shoots for a takedown but Z saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Z connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Silva's hands.

Silva closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Z throws a looping overhand right but Silva ducks down to avoid it.

and Silva makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Z closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Z pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Z scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Silva doesn't seem bothered though.
Z looks to score with a jab to the body but Silva is just out of range.
Z misses with a wild body shot.

Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Z as he jumps to the side.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Silva. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Z is breathing heavily.
Silva throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Z stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Z on that attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Silva clinches with his opponent.
Silva tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Silva tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Z smiles and moves away.

Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Z sprawls well. Z wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.

Silva throws a hook to the side of Z's head but Z sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Z darts in and clinches Silva up against the cage.
Z breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

YES! Z taps out! nice BJJ there by Silva!
