Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Chokespear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Asdington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, William Chokespear! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, George Asdington! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Asdington closes the distance and pushes Chokespear back into the cage. Chokespear is trying to break the clinch but Asdington has him pressed against the cage. Asdington successfully pulls guard.
Chokespear stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Asdington swivels though and keeps the full guard. Asdington is looking to stand up but Chokespear isn't so interested in that idea. Asdington working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Chokespear. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chokespear is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Asdington is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Chokespear content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Asdington wants to sweep here but Chokespear controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Asdington has his foot on Chokespear's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chokespear works his way back into a safe position though. Asdington looking for a sweep. Not yet Asdington, not yet. Asdington has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Chokespear is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Asdington. Chokespear gets to mount! Asdington was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Asdington should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Asdington wants to control but Chokespear is having none of it. Chokespear has control of Asdington's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Asdington regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Chokespear avoids the attempt from Asdington to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chokespear in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Chokespear looking to control and managing it successfully. Chokespear is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Asdington can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Asdington is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Chokespear controlling the position easily from mount. Asdington sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Chokespear is thwarting Asdington's attempts to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
William Chokespear dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Chokespear drives through with a takedown into guard. Asdington looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Chokespear has picked Asdington up and slammed him! Asdington can't keep hold of the triangle and Chokespear manages to pass to side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Asdington tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Chokespear presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Asdington tries to get back to half guard but can't. Asdington reaches up to try and control the position but Chokespear seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Asdington rolls and tries to escape and now Chokespear has his back!
Chokespear tightening his grip on Asdington, looking for the choke. Asdington is looking to escape here. Oh dear - Chokespear has locked on a rear naked choke here! Asdington is tapping out! The fight is over!
