The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dabrowski looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Novitskiy is fending him off so far but Dabrowski persists. Nope, Novitskiy circles away and we're back to standing.

Novitskiy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dabrowski to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Dabrowski wants to control from the top but Novitskiy keeps moving.
Novitskiy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dabrowski is controlling him.
Dabrowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Novitskiy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dabrowski is working to tighten is grip on Novitskiy's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Novitskiy has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Dabrowski is really squeezing tight and eventually Novitskiy passes out! Dabrowski breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
