Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between DJ Vincent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vaughn Hammersmith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hammersmith's choice of entrance music: Kanye West - It's Amazing. Vincent is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Vaughn Hammersmith will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vincent shoots in for a double leg but Hammersmith sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vincent is breathing heavily.
Hammersmith shoots in but no luck this time.
Hammersmith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vincent's waist but Vincent gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hammersmith off to one side.
Vincent tries to clinch but Hammersmith is having none of it.
Hammersmith drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hammersmith accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hammersmith wants to pass the guard but Vincent is defending well.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hammersmith in particular looking to stall.
Vincent won't allow Hammersmith to pass to mount.
Hammersmith passes the guard and advances to mount!
Hammersmith has control of Vincent's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Vincent regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

A lull in the action here.
Vincent looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Even with his hooks in, Hammersmith manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Hammersmith has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Vincent is defending well but eventually Hammersmith manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Vincent has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
