The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bairulla fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brutes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bairulla is controlling Brutes's posture.
Bairulla had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brutes defends it easily.

Bairulla's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bairulla connects with a nice short shot to Brutes's temple.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bairulla, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
