Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vrach Daltonik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrew Whitworth!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daltonik lands a nice looking body shot.
Whitworth takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.


It looks like Andrew Whitworth has been cut.
Whitworth avoids a punch combination nicely.
Daltonik misses with the combination.
Daltonik lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Whitworth circles away quickly and effectively.

Whitworth shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Whitworth with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Daltonik is refusing to be controlled, as Whitworth sits in half guard.

Daltonik is looking to improve his position.
Whitworth trying to control from Daltonik's half guard. Daltonik has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Whitworth throws a big right hand that misses.
Daltonik is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Whitworth is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Daltonik has Whitworth pulled in close to control his posture.
Whitworth stays in close to Daltonik's body and controls the position.
Whitworth wants to stand but Daltonik is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Whitworth looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Whitworth wants to control from the top but Daltonik keeps moving.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Whitworth wanted to stand there but Daltonik had control of the position.
Daltonik is pulling down on Whitworth's head. It's preventing any offense from Whitworth, at least for the moment.
Whitworth wants to pass the guard but Daltonik is keeping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Vrach Daltonik will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Andrew Whitworth's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Whitworth shoots in looking for a takedown. Daltonik tries to sprawl out of it but Whitworth keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Daltonik manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Daltonik throws a right hand that Whitworth ducks under and follows up with a left that Whitworth also avoids with ease.
Daltonik throws a series of punches but Whitworth avoids them all with ease.
Good standup being displayed there by Daltonik as he connects with a hook.
Whitworth shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Daltonik as he jumps to the side.
A jab from Daltonik does it's job there.
Whitworth misses with a series of wild punches.
Daltonik scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Daltonik throws a right and a left that both miss.
A punch combination from Daltonik misses.
Vrach Daltonik is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Whitworth tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Daltonik paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice body punch from Daltonik.
Whitworth is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Daltonik digs a good body shot into Whitworth's ribs.
Whitworth gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Daltonik lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Daltonik here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Daltonik throws a nice looking combination but Whitworth bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Daltonik lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.


That has opened up Andrew Whitworth's cut even more.
Daltonik lands a hook that stumbles Whitworth back into the cage. Daltonik follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Whitworth to the canvas! Daltonik pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Whitworth has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Vrach Daltonik!
