Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lincon Pingshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac comes to the cage accompanied by Push It by Rick Ross. Pingshaw has chosen Heart of a Champion as his entrance music. Lincon Pingshaw will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Mac! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lincon Pingshaw! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mac closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Pingshaw is looking for a sweep. Pingshaw is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Pingshaw manages to work his way to half guard, despite Mac's best efforts. Mac prevents Pingshaw from improving his position. Pingshaw keeping control of the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pingshaw makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Pingshaw. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pingshaw is on top in guard.
Pingshaw prevents Mac from getting back to his feet. Pingshaw loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Pingshaw throws a strike but Mac rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mac is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Mac postures up and lands a big shot to Pingshaw's brow. Pingshaw looking for a sweep. Not yet Pingshaw, not yet. Mac is looking to work some ground and pound but Pingshaw has wrist control. Pingshaw wants to sweep here but Mac controlling him for the moment. Mac would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Mac lands a couple of elbows. Mac is looking to work some ground and pound but Pingshaw has wrist control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Pingshaw tries for a takedown but Mac circles away easily and Mac counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pingshaw doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mac counters with a takedown into side control. Pingshaw tries to bench press Mac off him but Mac keeps the position. You can see the frustration on Pingshaw's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Pingshaw is looking to regain half guard here but Mac keeps moving and retains side control. Mac in side control, just content to control the action for now. Pingshaw tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pingshaw gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pingshaw is looking to control Mac's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pingshaw avoid being mounted? Pingshaw flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Mac wants to free his trapped foot but Pingshaw is holding on for dear life with his legs. Pingshaw tries to get to full guard but Mac has control of the leg.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Pingshaw with a lazy takedown attempt and Mac counters with a one-two to the body. Jason Mac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lincon Pingshaw. Mac scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mac thuds a left hand into Pingshaw's body. Mac throws a right hand that Pingshaw ducks under and follows up with a left that Pingshaw also avoids with ease. Mac is breathing heavily. Pingshaw stuffs the takedown. Pingshaw with a lazy takedown attempt and Mac counters with a series of strikes. Pingshaw will be more careful next time no doubt. Pingshaw misses with a low kick. Mac tries to clinch up. A combination from Mac does no damage. Pingshaw closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mac to the mat! Mac manages to get full guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pingshaw's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Pingshaw sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mac's guard. Pingshaw slips a nice elbow through Mac's hands, connecting with Mac's forehead. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mac tries to get out of the position. Mac is looking to improve his position.

That was a close round but I would say that Jason Mac will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Pingshaw doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mac cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Mac tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pingshaw sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mac somewhat. Pingshaw fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mac manages to avoid it. Mac fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Pingshaw shoots and misses and Mac counters with a two punch combo. Pingshaw gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mac to score an easy takedown into full guard. Pingshaw manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mac manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pingshaw content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Pingshaw has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Pingshaw passes easily into side control. Nice work. Mac might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pingshaw tries to move into full mount but can't pass Mac's legs. Pingshaw scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Mac to see if he's OK. Pingshaw cracks Mac with a big right hand but Mac just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Mac is not in a great position here, taking some shots. You can see the frustration on Mac's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Mac knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pingshaw on the ground.

Lincon Pingshaw showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Mac is looking to improve his position but Pingshaw isn't that keen on the idea. A nice elbow there by Pingshaw. Pingshaw lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Pingshaw with a couple of short strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Lincon Pingshaw comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Pingshaw has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
