Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tsuyoshi Tamatso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tex Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peterson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. - kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tsuyoshi Tamatso!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tex Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson misses with a wild body shot.
Peterson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Tamatso avoids the body shot from Peterson.
Peterson looks to land a right hand but Tamatso moved out of range.
Tamatso ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Peterson moves away.
Tamatso tries to clinch up.
Tamatso scores with a punch to the head.
Peterson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tamatso throws out the jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tamatso, as that shot connected.

Peterson throws a push kick but Tamatso slaps the foot to one side.

Tamatso buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Tamatso closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Peterson did well to prevent Tamatso getting side control.

Tamatso is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Peterson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Peterson shrugs it off.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tamatso accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Peterson has momentary wrist control but Tamatso slips an elbow through the middle.

Tamatso is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Tamatso keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Peterson's head.

Tamatso throws a big right hand that misses.
Peterson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Peterson slips a nice elbow through Tamatso's hands, connecting with Tamatso's forehead.
Tamatso tries to get to full guard but Peterson has control of the leg.

Peterson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tamatso has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Peterson has managed to get both his arms back between Tamatso's legs - danger averted.

Tamatso throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Peterson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tamatso circles away.
Tamatso is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Peterson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tamatso.
Tamatso shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Peterson sprawls well. Peterson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tamatso gets slowly back to his feet.

Tamatso cracks Peterson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Peterson throws a right hand that Tamatso ducks under and follows up with a left that Tamatso also avoids with ease.

Tamatso lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tamatso tries to close the distance and clinch but Peterson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Good leg kick by Tamatso there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tamatso lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Peterson at a distance.
Peterson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Tamatso jabs Peterson right on the nose. Peterson blinks but takes it well.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Tamatso throws a leg kick which misses Peterson's front leg but catches the back leg as Peterson tries to avoid it.

Peterson loads up on a big right hand but Tamatso slips the punch.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tamatso, right into the meat.
