Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Son Goku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perry Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cox has chosen Solitaire Unraveling as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Son Goku could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Perry Cox's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goku buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Cox throws a lazy right hand but Goku sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Cox scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Cox throws out a loose jab but Goku uses good head movement to avoid it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Cox's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Cox lunges at Goku with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Goku's hand.

and Goku counters with a head kick. That will keep Cox thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Cox takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Goku ducks right into an uppercut from Cox.
Cox stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Goku.
Goku works the jab nicely.
Goku throws a push kick but Cox slaps the foot to one side.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Cox might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Goku has got the better of the exchanges.
Goku uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cox.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Goku here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
