Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronny McCrae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Happy Gunj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunj comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Shipping up to boston kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ronny McCrae has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ronny McCrae! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Happy Gunj! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunj shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McCrae's guard. Gunj pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McCrae is keeping the position for now. McCrae is looking to stand back up but Gunj counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by McCrae. Gunj keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunj trying to mount his opponent but McCrae defends it. Gunj is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McCrae defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gunj is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Gunj controlling the action here. McCrae trying to control but Gunj postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gunj looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. McCrae is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Gunj jumps into side control! McCrae knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gunj on the ground. Gunj throws a strike aimed at the side of McCrae's head but McCrae avoids it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. McCrae wants to get back to his feet but Gunj is dominant here and he's now got McCrae's back! Gunj slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Gunj throwing damaging strikes from the back! McCrae could be in trouble here!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gunj controls the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Happy Gunj dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
McCrae goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Gunj looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Gunj tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. McCrae slips a jab from Gunj. Ronny McCrae is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gunj decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCrae wants to get back to his feet.
Gunj tries to pass to full mount but McCrae defends it. Gunj content to control rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Happy Gunj. Gunj misses with the combination.
Gunj shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCrae wants to sweep but no luck. Gunj is stalling in the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Gunj looking to pass the guard. Gunj works a leg free and moves into half guard. Gunj is pressing down on McCrae's thigh, looking to free his foot. McCrae is holding on for now. Gunj perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronny McCrae dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
McCrae thows a body shot but no joy. McCrae swings for the body but Gunj moves out of range.
McCrae blocks a head kick by Gunj.
Gunj scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. McCrae tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Gunj manages to move to mount!
Gunj controlling the pace for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunj looking to finish McCrae with some ground and pound. This is bad for McCrae!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gunj with the ground and pound from mount. Gunj controlling the position easily from mount. A nice elbow there by Gunj. Gunj takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCrae is desperately trying to improve his position but Gunj has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gunj lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
McCrae is wriggling around trying to escape.
A nice elbow there by Gunj. Gunj controlling from mount. The referee warns McCrae that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Happy Gunj comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Gunj has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
