Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Ae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Kain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ae kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is sponji reggae . Kain is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Irresponsible Hate Anthem. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mr Ae! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Kain! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ae lets loose with a powerful body kick. Kain will feel that in the morning. Kain tries to clinch but Ae moves out of range. Ae fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kain manages to avoid it. Ae with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kain blocks a head kick by Ae.
Kain tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kain shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ae sprawls well. Ae wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kain gets slowly back to his feet. Horrible takedown by Kain or perhaps it was just good defense by Ae which made him look bad. Ae looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Ae gets a clinch. Ae looking to slow down the pace here. Kain lands a nice elbow. Ae tries to break free but Kain pushes him back against the cage. Ae breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kain moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters working to control the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Ae's face as he tries to break the clinch. Ae on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Ae looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ae breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Horrible takedown by Kain or perhaps it was just good defense by Ae which made him look bad. Mr Ae has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Kain. Kain has a takedown stuffed. Kain has a takedown stuffed. Ae moves out of range of the body kick from Kain.
Kain shoots in for a takedown but Ae shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ae cracks the inside of Kain's front leg. Kain looks gassed! Ae feints and then cracks Kain's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kain down. Ae scores with a nice body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ae rushes Kain and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ae's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ae tries to clinch up and Kain counters by clinching up. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ae breaks from the clinch.
A low kick from Ae misses and Kain counters with a takedown into side control. The ground and pound from Kain seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Kain misses with the ground and pound. Ae is trying to control Kain's posture but Kain avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ae is looking to regain half guard here but Kain keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kain wants to control but Ae is keeping him busy. Ae is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kain is controlling him well. Kain throws an elbow but Ae slips to the side and avoids it well. Ae is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ae looks to land a body kick but Kain moved away. Ae wants to clinch and Kain counters with a big head kick but Ae shrugs it off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kain checks a leg kick. Kain shoots in for a takedown but Ae shows good takedown defense. Ae tries to close the distance and clinch but Kain swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ae misses with a head kick.
Kain clinches but Ae breaks the clinch and Ae counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kain with a poor takedown and Ae counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Ae is looking to clinch but Kain is avoiding it.
Kain wants to clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A head kick misses from Ae. Kain shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ae defends it nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mr Ae dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kain tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ae tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ae thows a leg kick but Kain checks it and Kain counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ae won't be happy with that. Kain is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ae knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Ae manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ae wants to free his trapped foot but Kain is holding on for dear life with his legs. Ae prevents Kain from standing back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Kain manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Ae throws a big right hand that misses. Kain had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ae defends it easily. Kain is breathing heavily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ae accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ae avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kain bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ae's guard. Kain stopping the sweep attempt from Ae. Kain stops Ae from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kain pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ae is keeping the position for now. Kain throws and elbow that misses. Ae uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kain's guard. Nice move by Ae! Kain is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kain is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ae has gone for a leg lock! Kain slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ae's guard. Kain trying to control but Ae is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kain wants to stand but Ae is controlling his posture from full guard. Kain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ae swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kain's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Ae knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kain on the ground. Kain throwing strikes from guard but Ae blocks nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kain scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Ae keeping moving, preventing Kain from controlling successfully. Kain loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kain looking to pass the guard. Ae wants to hit a switch here but Kain passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Ae there! Kain moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ae has worked his arm free - good work by Ae!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Kain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Ae looks for the body kick but Kain saw that one coming. Ae leaves Kain with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ae pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kain is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ae sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ae fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kain checks it well. Kain blocks a head kick by Ae.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ae swats away the attempt to clinch by Kain. Ae throws a body kick despite being completely out of range so Kain counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Kain takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kain trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kain loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ae is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kain postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kain stands and throws Ae's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kain scoring with punches and elbows. Ae defending against the ground and pound. Kain is looking to take a break and control but Ae is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ae is trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ae parries the strikes from Kain easily there. Kain is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ae to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kain looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Ae is avoiding damage well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kain trying to control the action but Ae is working from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kain darts in trying to clinch and Ae counters with a nice leg kick. Ae misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mr Ae is winning the standup battle so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ae looks to land a body kick but Kain moved away. Ae lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ae. Kain does a little dance to reset his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Kain comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kain has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
