Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Espino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergiou Figu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Espino's entrance music is Apple Juice by Taintstick. A fine choice. Sergiou Figu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Espino.
Figu clinches with his opponent.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Figu lands a nice short elbow.
Figu passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Espino!

Figu can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Espino is looking to escape.

Tony Espino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Figu closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Espino on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Figu works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Figu connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Espino some visible discomfort.
Figu in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Figu wants to control but Espino is keeping him busy.

Figu lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Figu looks up at the clock and then as Espino takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Figu smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Espino is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Figu's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Figu is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
