Lilke throws a jab when Wheaton was well out of range.

Wheaton dives in and grabs Lilke's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lilke pushes down on Wheaton's head and hops out.
Wheaton uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lilke.

Wheaton throws a head kick but Lilke moves out of range.
Wheaton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wheaton dodges the punch combination from Lilke.
Wheaton shoots for a double leg takedown but Lilke sprawls well. He's pushed Wheaton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Scott Lilke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devon Wheaton.
Wheaton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lilke paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wheaton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lilke tries to avoid it but Wheaton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lilke to the ground. Lilke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wheaton fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lilke displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wheaton.
A decent looking cross lands there for Lilke.
It looks like Devon Wheaton has been cut.

Wheaton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lilke tries to avoid it but Wheaton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lilke to the ground. Lilke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Scott Lilke is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lilke will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Lilke throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lilke throws a right and a left that Wheaton avoids nicely.

Wheaton is looking to clinch but Lilke is avoiding it.
Wheaton throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lilke counters with a one-two to the body.
Wheaton drops his hands momentarily and Lilke takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lilke lands with a nice combination. Wheaton backs away looking to recover.

Wheaton is still on wobbly legs! Can Lilke finish him?
Lilke throws a right hand that Wheaton ducks under and follows up with a left that Wheaton also avoids with ease.
Wheaton loses concentration momentarily and Lilke pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Wheaton crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Lilke finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
