The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ness is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ness changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Richter tries to avoid it but Ness manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Richter to the ground. Richter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ness decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Ness is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Richter defends it well.
