Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Andrada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Miguel Andrada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricardo Romero!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero shoots in looking for a takedown. Andrada tries to sprawl out of it but Romero keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Andrada manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Andrada stuffs the takedown attempt from Romero. Romero gets slowly back to his feet.

Romero shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Andrada is trying to defend but Romero finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Andrada is looking to control Romero's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Andrada avoid being mounted?
Andrada wants to get back to full guard.

Andrada looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Romero really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Andrada. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Andrada defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Romero.

Romero shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Andrada but Andrada pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Romero sneaks out the side door and pushes Andrada away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Andrada gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Romero is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Romero closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Andrada to the mat! Andrada manages to get full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Romero can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Romero drives through with a takedown into guard.
Romero must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Romero not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Andrada wants to stand but Romero is controlling the position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Miguel Andrada will probably get the nod.
