The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connick avoids a kick to the body.
Hogg throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Connick's waist but Connick gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hogg off to one side.
Hogg bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Connick is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Connick is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hogg pulls his head out easily.
