Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zhen Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zhen Long! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nick Cage! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Long stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Long wants it to stay on the feet. Cage thows a body shot but no joy. Cage feints and as Long raises his hands in defense, Cage changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Cage wants to control from the top but Long keeps moving. Long is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cage is aware though and is defending well. Cage throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Long works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Cage stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Long swivels though and keeps the full guard. Long keeping moving, preventing Cage from controlling successfully. Cage is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Cage has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Cage advances position into side control! Long is trying to get back to half guard. Long might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Long fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cage circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cage looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Long is fending him off so far but Cage persists. Nope, Long circles away and we're back to standing. Cage drives through with a takedown into guard. Long looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Cage has picked Long up and slammed him! Long can't keep hold of the triangle and Cage manages to pass to side control! Cage tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Cage looks gassed! Long tries to bench press Cage off him but Cage keeps the position. Long manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Cage is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Long is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
