Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Von Han!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anderson Sylvia!
The judges for this bout are Roosa J�rvil�inen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sylvia throws a right hand that Han ducks under and follows up with a left that Han also avoids with ease.
Von Han seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sylvia swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Han tries to work over Sylvia's front leg with a kick but Sylvia checks it.
Han throws a nice inside leg kick.
Han throws a leg kick but Sylvia checks it.
Han fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sylvia looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Han misses with a combination
and Han takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sylvia throws a series of punches but Han avoids them all with ease.
Good standup being displayed there by Sylvia as he connects with a hook.
Han lands with a nice body kick.
Sylvia looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A solid leg kick lands there for Han.
Han throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sylvia stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Han lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sylvia takes a step back to recover.
Han lets loose with a powerful body kick. Sylvia will feel that in the morning.
Sylvia takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Sylvia misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Han bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Han thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sylvia if he has to take too many more of those.
Sylvia avoids a punch combination nicely.
A nice leg kick lands there from Han.
A slapping leg kick lands for Han.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Han lands a big head kick that sends Sylvia tumbling to the mat! Han takes a step backwards and waves Sylvia back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Sylvia is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Han engages and cracks Sylvia with a massive lead left hook - Sylvia tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Han is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Von Han!
