Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mack Mick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damion McGinley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGinley has chosen Aint no sunshine as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mack Mick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Damion McGinley! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGinley lands a nice looking body shot.
McGinley throws a nice inside leg kick. Mick takes a kick to the side of the head. Mick looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for McGinley! Mick throws a strike there. McGinley manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
McGinley looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mick missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. McGinley is pressing down on Mick's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Mick thows a big elbow that misses. Mick throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mick throws a strike but McGinley rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Mick looking for a sweep. Not yet Mick, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mick holds on and takes a little breather. Mick's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. McGinley wants to stand but Mick is controlling his posture from full guard. McGinley looking to pass the guard. Mick has McGinley pulled in close to control his posture. Mick is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McGinley wants to get up but he can't break Mick's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. McGinley stopping the sweep attempt from Mick. Mick bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McGinley's guard. Mick scoring with some ground and pound. Mick throws and elbow that misses. McGinley uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mick's guard. Nice move by McGinley! McGinley stopping the sweep attempt from Mick. McGinley trying to control but Mick is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mick has a closed guard, preventing McGinley from standing up. McGinley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Mick working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from McGinley. Mick is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. McGinley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. McGinley scores with a nice body kick.
McGinley lands a lovely overhand right. McGinley connects with a single shot there. McGinley circles away from the clinch attempt.
McGinley doesn't manage to clinch there - Mick circles away.
Mick takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Damion McGinley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McGinley throws a hook but Mick avoids it easily. McGinley thuds his right hand into Mick's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Mick closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. McGinley stuffs the takedown attempt from Mick. Mick gets slowly back to his feet. McGinley with a body punch. A glancing blow. McGinley's corner calls for a 1-2. McGinley obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Mick wants to clinch up but McGinley keeps it at a distance. McGinley cracks Mick with an open hand slap. McGinley swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mick. Mick shoots for a double leg takedown but McGinley sprawls well. He's pushed Mick's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. McGinley bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mick's head.
Mick is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McGinley throws a head kick that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damion McGinley dominated that round. That's time! Mick's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
McGinley connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Mick! He's out on his feet! McGinley rushes in and drops Mick with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
