Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jenkins Hoss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nikolai Valuev!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Hoss looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hoss tries to keep at a distance but Valuev has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hoss escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hoss wants to clinch
and Hoss takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hoss misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Valuev moves into the clinch successfully.
Valuev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hoss tries to clinch up
so Valuev counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hoss looking to control.
Hoss being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hoss trying to control the position.
Valuev slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Hoss wants to get back to his feet but Valuev is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Hoss is trying to keep Valuev in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Valuev stands up and waves to Hoss to follow him.
Valuev throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
The fighters circling - Hoss throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Valuev swats away the attempt to clinch by Hoss.
A punch combination from Hoss misses.
Hoss darts in trying to clinch
and Valuev moves into the clinch.
Hoss tries to break the clinch but Valuev is controlling the position.
Valuev has Hoss pressed against the cage, preventing Hoss from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Hoss tries for a takedown. No joy.
Valuev breaks the clinch.
Valuev cracks Hoss with a right hand to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hoss tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Valuev counters with a straight right hand.
Good work by Valuev as he checks the leg kick.
Valuev moves into the clinch.
Valuev blocking some punches.
Hoss wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Valuev stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Hoss wants to get back to striking at distance but Valuev won't allow it.
Valuev stalling the fight.
Valuev keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hoss's efforts to push away.
Valuev breaks from the clinch.
Valuev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Valuev misses with a two punch combination.
Hoss takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Valuev scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Hoss gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Valuev counters with a big right hand! Oh Hoss is in trouble here! Valuev follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nikolai Valuev!
