Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jason Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benji Cada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cada avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rose fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rose misses with the combination.
Jason Rose seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cada takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rose misses with an uppercut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rose lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Cada fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rose avoids it really well and circles away.

Rose rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cada moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Rose darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Cada shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rose sprawls well. Rose wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cada gets slowly back to his feet.

Rose tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cada was well out of range. Poor timing from Rose.
Rose is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Rose lands with an uppercut that bounces Cada off the cage and back into rage.
Rose connects with the punch.
Nice sprawl there from Rose as Cada shoots in.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rose thows a body shot but no joy.
Rose cracks Cada with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Benji Cada has been cut.
Good exchange - Rose coming out on top.
Rose tries to bum rush Cada with a series of wild strikes but Cada uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cada walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Rose works over Cada's head and body with a nice combination.
Cada is rocked!
Cada ducks under a wild hook from Rose.
Cada is still on wobbly legs! Can Rose finish him?
Rose lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Cada changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rose tries to avoid it but Cada manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rose to the ground. Rose escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd cheers as Rose lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cada doesn't seem phased though.
Decent striking displayed by Rose there.
Rose looks to land a left hand but Cada moved out of range nicely.
Rose connects with a single shot there.
Cada shoots in for a takedown but Rose shows good takedown defense.
Rose is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Rose misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jason Rose is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A jab lands there for Rose.
Rose leaves Cada with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jason Rose has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benji Cada.

Rose misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rose lands with an overhand left.
Rose is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Rose rushes Cada with punches - Cada moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Cada goes down! Rose follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
