Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Scylla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuya Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenny Scylla! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazuya Takeshi! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takeshi looks to land a combination but Scylla avoids it well. Scylla ducks under a wild hook from Takeshi. Takeshi throws a nice looking combination but Scylla bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Takeshi throws a head kick but Scylla moves out of range.
No luck for Scylla with that takedown attempt. Scylla tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Takeshi swivels and escapes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scylla fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenny Scylla. That's going to take a lot out of him. Scylla shoots in looking for a takedown. Takeshi tries to sprawl out of it but Scylla keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Takeshi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takeshi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Scylla fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Scylla shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Takeshi as he avoids it easily. Takeshi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Scylla fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Takeshi misses with a double jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. A head kick misses from Scylla. Scylla shoots in for a takedown but Takeshi shows good takedown defense. Takeshi moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Scylla. Takeshi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Scylla misses with a takedown attempt - Takeshi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Scylla gets the takedown into side control. Takeshi is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Takeshi sneaks back into half guard. Takeshi is looking for a sweep. Scylla is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Takeshi works his way to full guard. Good work. Takeshi is controlling Scylla's posture. Takeshi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Scylla drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Scylla jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Scylla is breathing heavily. Takeshi is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Takeshi is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Takeshi trying to keep a closed guard but Scylla is proving a slippery customer.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Scylla takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Takeshi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Takeshi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kazuya Takeshi dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Scylla fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Takeshi sprawls well initially but Scylla persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Takeshi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Takeshi looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Takeshi wants to control but Scylla is keeping busy and won't allow it. Scylla takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Takeshi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Scylla is working away from the top position though. Scylla is trying to work for a kimura but Takeshi is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Scylla shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Takeshi but Takeshi pushes him off and we're back to square one. Scylla slips a jab and a cross from Takeshi.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenny Scylla. That's going to take a lot out of him. Scylla closes the distance and clinches up with Takeshi, looking for a takedown. Scylla pushes Takeshi against the ropes but Takeshi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Scylla changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Takeshi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Takeshi isn't going anywhere. Takeshi struggling a bit here. Takeshi tries to improve position but can't. Scylla working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Takeshi is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Scylla off and has taken his back! Takeshi trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Scylla doesn't escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takeshi somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Scylla manages to reverse the position and now he's in Takeshi's guard. Nice work there by Scylla.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Scylla controls the position from side control. Scylla trying to control the position but Takeshi is working away. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Scylla looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Takeshi wants to control but Scylla postures up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Scylla passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Takeshi! Scylla wants to finish this one by submission but Takeshi is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Scylla. Takeshi looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Takeshi misses with a body shot.

Scylla is looking for a kimura but Takeshi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Scylla to get the leverage. Scylla is trying to work for a kimura but Takeshi is defending well.

Takeshi throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Scylla throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Takeshi's waist but Takeshi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Scylla off to one side. Takeshi misses with a low kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Kazuya Takeshi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Takeshi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
