Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Andok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dest Royer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andok comes into the arena with "Libre" by Tristania blaring out of the sound system. Royer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 2Г5Р1О7Т - Дым kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rodrigo Andok! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dest Royer! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andok shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Andok is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Royer is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Royer has escaped and now he's on top! Andok keeping moving, preventing Royer from controlling successfully. Andok escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Royer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Andok has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Royer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Royer landing with the ground and pound. Royer with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Andok had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Royer defends it easily. Royer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Andok works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Royer is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Royer throwing strikes from guard but Andok blocks nicely. Andok avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Andok lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Royer! Nice work there by Royer and Andok has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Royer is looking for a sweep. Andok goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Royer rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Andok's guard! Nice work there by Royer! Royer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Andok has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Royer has managed to get both his arms back between Andok's legs - danger averted. Royer looking to pass the guard. Andok has an active guard here but Royer has managed to pass into half guard.
Andok is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Royer moves into full mount! Andok won't be happy about that! Andok tries to hold on but Royer postures up. Andok working to try and regain half guard.
Royer with shots to the head and body - Andok looks very uncomfortable down there. Royer scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Andok?
Andok gets back to half guard. Andok is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Royer pulls his head out easily. Royer working over Andok with some ground and pound. Andok looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Andok is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Royer connects with a nice short shot to Andok's temple. Oh Andok is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Royer not doing much here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Royer lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Andok quite badly. Andok pulls Royer in close trying to recover. Royer postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Andok on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Andok doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dest Royer!
