Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Pureza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigue Francouer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Francouer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Pureza gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Francouer regains guard.

Francouer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Francouer sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Francouer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pureza just stands there and leans against the cage.

Francouer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Pureza is trying to get an arm triangle but Francouer is defending well.
Pureza is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Francouer's shoulder. That is not cool.
Pureza seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Francouer for as long as he can get away with.

Pureza bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Francouer's guard.
Pureza drops back looking for a leg! Francouer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Francouer manages to kick Pureza off! Pureza jumps back into Francouer's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jonathan Pureza is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Francouer has his foot on Pureza's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pureza works his way back into a safe position though.

Rodrigue Francouer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Pureza has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
