Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hattori Hanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sima Hui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hattori Hanzo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sima Hui!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hui misses with a few strikes there.
Hanzo shoots in looking for a takedown. Hui tries to sprawl out of it but Hanzo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hui manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hanzo is defended easily by Hui.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hui fails to land with a series of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hanzo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nice sprawl there from Hui as Hanzo shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hattori Hanzo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hui throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hanzo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hui swings for the body but Hanzo moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hui misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hanzo shoots in but Hui avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hui misses with the combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sima Hui dominated that round.
That's time! Hanzo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hanzo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hui tries to avoid it but Hanzo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hui to the ground. Hui escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hui ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hanzo moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sima Hui showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Hui moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hui just misses with a punch to the body.

Hanzo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hui.

Hanzo has a takedown stuffed.
A punch combination from Hui misses.
Sima Hui is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hanzo scores a takedown into full mount!
Hui sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Hui has his hands clasped together around Hanzo's back. He's all about the action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hanzo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hui holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Hanzo wants to work for an arm triangle but Hui is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hui moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Hanzo drops back looking for a leg! Hui is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hui manages to kick Hanzo off! Hanzo jumps back into Hui's guard.
Hui seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hanzo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hui swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hui is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Despite being in the dominant position, Sima Hui just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nice uppercut there from Hui.
And that's the end of the fight!
Sima Hui comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hui has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
