The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson shoots in and bounces St Pierre off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Stevenson trying to control but St Pierre is working from the bottom.
St Pierre wants to sweep here but Stevenson controlling him for the moment.
St Pierre is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
St Pierre has his hands on Stevenson's head, controlling the position.
Stevenson got a little sloppy there for a moment and St Pierre has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stevenson has managed to get both his arms back between St Pierre's legs - danger averted.
St Pierre looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stevenson is one step ahead there.
St Pierre is trying to hold Stevenson in close to prevent damage but Stevenson has managed to pass into half guard.

Stevenson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
St Pierre moves into full guard.
St Pierre pulls Stevenson in close to his closed guard and prevents Stevenson from doing any damage or advancing position.

Stevenson pushes down on St Pierre's leg and manages to get into half guard.
St Pierre is trying to get back to full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Stevenson is thwarting St Pierre's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
St Pierre is looking to improve his position.
Stevenson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! St Pierre is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
