The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grgic dodges the punch combination from Zabijaka.
Zabijaka misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Zabijaka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Zabijaka tries a head kick but it misses.

Zabijaka tries to bum rush Grgic with a series of wild strikes but Grgic uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Zabijaka throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zabijaka throws a right hand that Grgic ducks under and follows up with a left that Grgic also avoids with ease.
Zabijaka fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Grgic shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zabijaka's guard.

Grgic seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Zabijaka for as long as he can get away with.

Grgic fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Zabijaka sprawls well initially but Grgic persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Grgic feints and as Zabijaka raises his hands in defense, Grgic changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
