Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Tupper!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to de liver by wilson. Beautiful body shot.

Tupper closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tupper lands in his opponent's guard.

wilson is looking for a triangle but Tupper pushes his legs off easily.
wilson is breathing heavily.
wilson keeping moving, preventing Tupper from controlling successfully.
Tupper wants to pass the guard but wilson is keeping the position.
Tupper trying to control but wilson is working from the bottom.
Tupper must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Tupper keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of wilson's head.

Tupper gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
wilson is refusing to be controlled, as Tupper sits in half guard.
Tupper landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Tupper is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so wilson is just riding it out for now. Tupper eventually gives up the hold.

Tupper is sneakily working for an arm triangle but wilson sees it coming and defends easily.

wilson is looking to control Tupper's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can wilson avoid being mounted?

wilson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tupper pulls his head out easily.

Tupper is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Tupper is looking to take a break and control but wilson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tupper is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Tupper is pressing down on wilson's thigh, looking to free his foot. wilson is holding on for now.
Tupper wants to take a breather but wilson is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Tupper counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in wilson's guard now.

Tupper postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! wilson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tupper, into his guard.

Tupper seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
wilson wants to control from the top but Tupper keeps moving.
Tupper looking to hit a scissor sweep but wilson is one step ahead there.
Tupper lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for wilson!
Tupper breaks from wilson's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Tupper shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tupper was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Tupper is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Well, if wilson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Tupper is staying active underneath wilson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Tupper is controlling wilson's trapped leg to prevent wilson from advancing to side control.
wilson wants to control but Tupper is keeping him busy.

and wilson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by wilson.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tupper can do anything to dispel that myth.

Tupper is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Tupper counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Tupper ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tupper no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Tupper pushes wilson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
wilson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Bobby Tupper will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Tupper throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tupper drives through and clinches with wilson against the cage.

Tupper drags the fight down to the ground.
Tupper pulls wilson in close to prevent any damage.
Tupper looking for a sweep. Not yet Tupper, not yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
wilson wants to stand but Tupper has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
wilson won't allow Tupper to sweep him here.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tupper holds on and takes a little breather.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tupper content just to control the position here.
wilson is looking to improve his position but Tupper isn't that keen on the idea.

Tupper can't control as he wanted to and wilson manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

Tupper is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. wilson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tupper.
Tupper seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but wilson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Tupper goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, wilson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Tupper's guard! Nice work there by wilson!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as wilson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
cj wilson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bobby Tupper is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Bobby Tupper comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Tupper winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
