Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Deon Du Plessis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Seal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Du Plessis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fort Minor - Remember the name. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Du Plessis takes the fight into the clinch.

Du Plessis wants the takedown. Seal is fighting it off but Du Plessis persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Seal's guard against the cage.
Du Plessis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Seal works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Du Plessis postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Seal pulls Du Plessis in to control the position.
Du Plessis postures up in Seal's guard and throws a big left but Seal blocks it.
Seal is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Du Plessis is controlling him.

Seal is working an open guard so Du Plessis takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Seal shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Du Plessis but Du Plessis pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Du Plessis connects with a good right hand that stumbles Seal. Seal circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

No joy there for Seal, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
