Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Vasreovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morgan Leger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nikolai Vasreovsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Morgan Leger!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasreovsky takes one on the button.

Vasreovsky throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Leger was covering up waiting for the punch and Vasreovsky finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Leger is looking to stand up but Vasreovsky isn't so interested in that idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leger looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vasreovsky stays in close to Leger's body and controls the position.
Leger is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Leger prevents Vasreovsky from improving his position.
Still in half guard, Leger seems content to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Leger is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Leger trying to mount his opponent but Vasreovsky defends it.
Vasreovsky is trying to control but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Leger decides to return to a standing position.

Vasreovsky moves into the clinch.
Leger wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Leger is trying to break the clinch but Vasreovsky has him pressed against the cage.
Leger is trying to force a seperation but Vasreovsky has the dominant position.
Leger wants to get back to striking at distance but Vasreovsky won't allow it.

Vasreovsky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Leger lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Leger.
Leger dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vasreovsky is breathing heavily.
Vasreovsky slips a jab and a cross from Leger.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Vasreovsky is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Leger works the jab nicely.
Vasreovsky tries to close the distance and clinch but Leger swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nice jab there from Leger.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vasreovsky clinches up with Leger and pushes him back against the cage.

Leger pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Vasreovsky clinches.

Leger lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Vasreovsky lands an uppercut.
Vasreovsky tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Leger just stands there and leans against the cage.

Leger breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vasreovsky fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Leger avoids it really well and circles away.
Leger lands a right hook to the body.
Leger lands with a big left! Vasreovsky is wobbled badly! Leger comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Vasreovsky to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
