Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Ferris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Ripper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mick Ferris! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferris shoots in but no luck this time. Ferris blocks a head kick by Ripper.
Ripper scores with a push kick. Ripper is looking to clinch. Ripper throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ferris sees it coming and avoids it easily. Ferris swinging wilding here.
Ripper swings for the body but Ferris moves out of range.
Ripper throws a head kick that misses. Ferris fails with the takedown. Ferris fails with the takedown. Jack Ripper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mick Ferris. A big right from Ripper misses. Ferris looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ripper fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ripper throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ferris shoots in and drives through. Ripper sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ripper throws a big shot that misses. Ripper misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ferris will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ferris stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ripper. Ferris looks gassed! Ferris steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ripper. Ferris shoots in but Ripper avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ripper lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ferris's sensitive parts. Ferris checks a leg kick nicely. Ripper misses with a two punch combination.
Ripper moves into range and clinches up with Ferris. Ripper just leaning against Ferris, taking a breather. Ripper lands a knee to the head.

Ripper throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ferris blocks it with crossed arms. Ripper tries to land knees in the clinch but Ferris avoids the damage to the body. Ripper breaks the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ripper throws a combination that misses and Ferris counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ripper's guard now. Ferris advances to half guard. Ferris passes into side control, despite Ripper's attempt to control the position.
Ripper is looking for a sweep. Ripper can't do much from the bottom here. Ripper taking a bit of punishment here - Ferris scoring with strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ripper is looking for a sweep. Ripper is trying to control Ferris's posture but Ferris avoids it. Ferris is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ripper has escaped the position, nice work there. Ripper tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ferris working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Ferris wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ripper, who protects the arm well. Ferris tries to advance to mount but can't. Ferris is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ferris tries for a kimura but Ripper is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ferris moves into full mount! This has been an exciting period of action! Ferris looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Ferris moves to the back position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ripper is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Mick Ferris dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ripper takes the fight into the clinch. Ripper tries to land knees in the clinch but Ferris avoids the damage to the body. Ferris letting Ripper take a breather here. Ferris takes a knee right on the jaw!

Ripper stalling in the clinch but Ferris improves position. Ripper wants to get back to striking at distance but Ferris won't allow it.

Ripper breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ferris shoots in but Ripper avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ferris shoots in but no luck this time. Jack Ripper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mick Ferris. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ripper pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ripper misses with a combination
and Ferris counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ferris. Ferris passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferris wants to pass the guard but Ripper is defending well. Ferris works his foot free and advances to mount. Ferris working for a guillotine from mount but Ripper is in no mood to give up. Ripper working to try and regain half guard.
Ripper tries to hold on but Ferris postures up. Ripper tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferris seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Ripper is holding on tight.
Ferris looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ferris is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ripper can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Ferris with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ripper stops Ferris from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Ferris is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Ripper is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Ripper flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Ferris anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Ripper and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Ferris slips an arm under Ripper chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Ferris has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Ferris is squeezing on Ripper like an anaconda would it's prey. Ripper fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mick Ferris!
