Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ian McPherson!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPherson checks a low kick from Fleming.

McPherson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fleming to the mat! Fleming manages to get full guard.
McPherson stands up over Fleming, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Fleming looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Fleming wants to stand but McPherson is controlling the position.

McPherson drops back looking for a leg! Fleming is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fleming manages to kick McPherson off! McPherson jumps back into Fleming's guard.
Fleming is looking to stand up but McPherson isn't so interested in that idea.
McPherson wants to control from the top but Fleming keeps moving.

McPherson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fleming's head.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McPherson connects with a nice short shot to Fleming's temple.

Fleming knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McPherson on the ground.

McPherson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fleming is trying to control McPherson's posture but McPherson avoids it.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fleming is trying desperately to improve position.

McPherson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fleming manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Fleming is looking to reverse the position.
McPherson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fleming keeps working.
McPherson lands a decent elbow from side control.
Fleming wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Fleming is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

McPherson in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Fleming tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from McPherson!
