Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruce McGoose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Tatorini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tatorini has chosen Simple Man as his entrance music. Marc Tatorini will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bruce McGoose! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marc Tatorini! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by McGoose or perhaps it was just good defense by Tatorini which made him look bad. Tatorini misses with a looping left. McGoose drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGoose thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Tatorini is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. McGoose is looking to work some ground and pound but Tatorini has wrist control. McGoose content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. McGoose forces his way into half guard. McGoose trying to mount his opponent but Tatorini defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGoose is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Tatorini wants to control but McGoose is keeping busy.
McGoose is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tatorini defends it well. McGoose prevents Tatorini from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Tatorini moves into full guard.
McGoose throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tatorini works some decent striking defense from the bottom. McGoose drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tatorini dives on top into guard. McGoose looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tatorini controls from within his opponent's guard. McGoose doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tatorini stopping the sweep attempt from McGoose. McGoose is looking for a triangle here but Tatorini uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. You can see the frustration on McGoose's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. McGoose is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McGoose is not content to let Tatorini control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bruce McGoose will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tatorini lands a big right hand that sends McGoose crashing to the mat! Tatorini stays standing though and waves McGoose back to his feet!
McGoose is rocked!
It looks like Bruce McGoose has been cut. McGoose is holding his hands too far apart here. Tatorini throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! McGoose is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
