Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sando Han (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and EF Hutton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sando Han! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, EF Hutton! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hutton scores with a jab to the jaw.
It looks like Sando Han has been cut. Hutton's corner calls for a 1-2. Hutton obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Hutton swats away the attempt to clinch by Han. Hutton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Han looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Han is looking to land body kicks. Han throws and low kick but Hutton moves out of range easily. Han lands with an uppercut that bounces Hutton off the cage and back into rage. Han rushes Hutton and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Hutton ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hutton no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Han wants to stand but Hutton has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hutton has his foot on Han's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Han works his way back into a safe position though. Han wants to get up but he can't break Hutton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hutton is trying to control the position but Han postures up. Han knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hutton on the ground. Han gets to his feet - Hutton follows without any prompting. Hutton misses with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Han tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hutton paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hutton misses with a looping left. Hutton throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hutton fails to land with a series of punches.
Hutton shoots in for a takedown but Han shows good takedown defense. Hutton stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Han. Hutton looks gassed! Han tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hutton swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sando Han is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Han has managed to clinch.

Han wants to stand and escape but Hutton is having none of it. Hutton lands a couple of elbows. Hutton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Han works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hutton forces his way into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Han tries to kick Hutton off but Hutton keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Hutton is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Han is trying to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Han has one foot on Hutton's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Han clinches. A head punch on the inside from Hutton fails to land. Han prevents Hutton from breaking the clinch. A knee to the head by Han.
Hutton is trying to force a seperation but Han has the dominant position. Hutton dodges an elbow strike from Han.
Han drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hutton has Han pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Han manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Sando Han has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of EF Hutton. Han tries to land a knee to the head but Hutton blocks with his arms.

Hutton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Han moves into range and clinches up with Hutton. Han with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Hutton has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Han is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Han looking to throw knees to the head but Hutton is blocking nicely.

Han wants to clinch up but Hutton keeps it at a distance. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Han. Hutton shrugs it off though. A head kick from Han lands but Hutton takes it in his stride. Hutton lands a nice hook to Han's body. Han takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Han misses with a head kick.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Han cracks the inside of Hutton's front leg. Hutton throws a sloppy head kick and Han counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Han. Han utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Han scores with a knee to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sando Han dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Han tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Han throws a nice looking combination but Hutton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Nice straight punches there by Hutton. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hutton. EF Hutton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hutton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Han was covering up waiting for the punch and Hutton finishes the takedown easily into guard. Hutton throwing strikes from guard but Han blocks nicely. Hutton throws and elbow that misses. Han uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hutton's guard. Nice move by Han! Han trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hutton's guard. Han has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Han got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hutton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Han has managed to get both his arms back between Hutton's legs - danger averted. Han wants to stand but Hutton has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Han decides to stand back up. Han scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Hutton tries for a takedown but Han circles away easily and Han counters with a nice uppercut. Hutton avoids the head kick by Han.

This has been an exciting period of action! Han lands a nice looking body kick. Hutton has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Han. Han darts in and clinches Hutton up against the cage. Han with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Han jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hutton walks away with a smile on his face. Han gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Han has closed the distance and engaged Hutton in a clinch.

Hutton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Han swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hutton misses with a takedown and Han counters with a flying knee. Nice. Han tries to bum rush Hutton with a series of wild strikes but Hutton uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hutton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
