Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Shark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rabat Adjoshiu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shane Shark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rabat Adjoshiu!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Roberts and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adjoshiu scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Shark is not content to let Adjoshiu control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Adjoshiu throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Adjoshiu wants to control but Shark is keeping him busy.
Shark is pushing Adjoshiu's head away, looking to escape. Adjoshiu manages to hold on to the position though.
Shark lands a decent little punch to the body.
Shark is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Shark on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Shark tries to get out of the position.
Shark struggling a bit here.
Shark is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Shark wants to get back to his feet.
Shark is trying is best to control the position here.

Shark is refusing to be controlled, as Adjoshiu sits in half guard.
Shark might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Shark is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Adjoshiu lands a nice short elbow.
Shark is refusing to be controlled, as Adjoshiu sits in half guard.
Shark has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Adjoshiu is working away from the top position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Adjoshiu sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Shark tries to lock up and control but Adjoshiu gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Shark is looking to improve his position but Adjoshiu isn't that keen on the idea.

Adjoshiu trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Adjoshiu prevents Shark from getting the reversal.
Shark tries to improve his position but instead Adjoshiu has taken his back!

Shark trying to control the position but Adjoshiu manages to sink in the hooks.
Shark is breathing heavily.
Adjoshiu doesn't have the hooks in and Shark manages to turn into his guard.
Shark postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Adjoshiu moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Adjoshiu shoots in but no luck this time.
Adjoshiu closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shark circles away.
Adjoshiu scores with a jab. Shark acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Adjoshiu cracks Shark with a right hand to the side of the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nice takedown defense from Shark. No joy for Adjoshiu on that attempt.
Shane Shark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rabat Adjoshiu.
Adjoshiu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shark sprawls well. Shark wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Adjoshiu gets slowly back to his feet.

Shark closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Shark has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Adjoshiu avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Shark takes an elbow to the temple.

Adjoshiu is fighting off a takedown attempt but Shark is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Adjoshiu to the mat. Adjoshiu regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Shark trying to control the position from guard on top but Adjoshiu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Adjoshiu manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shark manages to get himself to full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Adjoshiu pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Shark is keeping the position for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rabat Adjoshiu dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


A punch combination from Adjoshiu misses.
Adjoshiu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shark tries to avoid it but Adjoshiu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shark to the ground. Shark escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Shark as Adjoshiu shoots in.

Shark moves into range and clinches up with Adjoshiu.
Adjoshiu tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Shark smiles and moves away.
Shane Shark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rabat Adjoshiu.
Adjoshiu closes the distance looking to clinch

and Shark counters with a nice double leg into side control. Adjoshiu won't be happy with that.
Shark is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Adjoshiu striking from the bottom but nothing landed.

Shark controls the position from side control.
Shark working the ground and pound from side control.
Shark works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Shark is looking to take a break and control but Adjoshiu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Shark wants to lay and pray for a moment but Adjoshiu keeps working.
Adjoshiu is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Shark is really struggling to control Adjoshiu but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Shark tries to advance to mount but Adjoshiu denies him.
Adjoshiu is looking to reverse the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Shark feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Adjoshiu tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Shark lands a couple of digs.
Shark sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Shark slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Shark stands up over Adjoshiu, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Shark controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Adjoshiu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shark doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shark manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Adjoshiu is trying to control the position but Shark postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shane Shark dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

and Shark counters with a nice double leg into side control. Adjoshiu won't be happy with that.

Adjoshiu is trying to get back to his feet.
Shark remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Shark's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Shane Shark just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Adjoshiu looks to throw the jab but Shark is out of range.

Shark throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Adjoshiu was covering up waiting for the punch and Shark finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Shark wants to control from the top but Adjoshiu keeps moving.

Shark drops back looking for a leg! Adjoshiu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Adjoshiu manages to kick Shark off! Shark jumps back into Adjoshiu's guard.
Shark is fighting to break Adjoshiu's control of his arms but Adjoshiu is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Adjoshiu wants to stand but Shark is controlling the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Shark accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Adjoshiu pushes Shark off and scrambles back to his feet.

and Shark counters with a takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shark is looking to take a break and control but Adjoshiu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Adjoshiu is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Shark controlling the pace.
Shark has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Shane Shark showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Shark has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
