Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Audrius Polinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dustin Duke has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Audrius Polinski! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Polinski moves in looking to clinch but Duke pushes him off. Polinski is looking to clinch. Duke looks to throw the jab but Polinski is out of range. Duke fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Polinski wants to clinch up but Duke keeps it at a distance. Duke throws a right and a left that both miss. Polinski tries to close the distance and clinch but Duke swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Polinski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Duke misses with a low kick. Polinski doesn't manage to clinch there - Duke circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Duke slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The strikes coming from Duke are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Duke prevents Polinski from escaping the position. Duke knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Polinski on the ground. Duke trying to control the position but Polinski is working away. Polinski is letting Duke control him for a moment. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duke lands a few punches from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Duke trying to control the action but Polinski is working from the bottom. Duke prevents Polinski from escaping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Duke tries to move into full mount but can't pass Polinski's legs. Polinski is trying to buck Duke off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
