The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirby throws a looping overhand right but Espozito ducks down to avoid it.
Espozito shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kirby manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Espozito drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Espozito jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kirby manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Espozito manages to get himself to full guard.
Espozito is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kirby defends well.

Kirby stands and throws Espozito's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kirby is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Espozito is trying to escape and Kirby transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Espozito is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kirby! Very nice indeed!
