Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, George Foot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Jameson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foot throws a nice outside leg kick.
Jameson throws a leg kick

and Foot holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Foot looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Jameson misses with a knee strike.

Foot pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jameson tries to clinch up
and Foot counters with a two punch combo.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jameson. Foot does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Foot counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jameson looks to score with a jab to the body but Foot is just out of range.
Foot throws out a leg kick but Jameson moves out of range and Foot only half commits.
James Jameson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Foot clobbers Jameson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Foot got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jameson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Foot has managed to get both his arms back between Jameson's legs - danger averted.
Foot might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Foot is looking to work some ground and pound but Jameson has wrist control.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Foot accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foot wants to control from the top but Jameson keeps moving.

Foot with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Foot decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Jameson throws a leg kick
and Foot counters with a leg kick.
Foot swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jameson misses with a few strikes there.
Foot takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Foot walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jameson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Jameson tries to clinch up
and Foot makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Foot swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Foot takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Foot manages to break the clinch.
Jameson dodges the punch combination from Foot.
Foot misses with a few strikes there.
Foot finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

and Foot counters with a three punch combo that has Jameson backing up. Jameson nods at Foot to acknowledge the strikes.

Foot chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jameson can pounce on him.
Foot stalks Jameson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jameson's face. Jameson staggers backwards, shaken.
Jameson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Foot will feel that in the morning.
Jameson moves in looking to clinch but Foot pushes him off.
A solid leg kick lands there for Jameson.

Jameson misses with a head kick.
Jameson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Foot avoids a kick to the body.
Jameson tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Foot holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Jameson misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Foot.

Jameson manages to break the clinch.
Jameson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Foot.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Foot tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jameson smiles and moves away.
Jameson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Foot is able to avoid easily.
Jameson throws and low kick but Foot moves out of range easily.

and Foot counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jameson!
Jameson can't escape the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Foot stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jameson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Foot decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Foot seems to be working for a kimura but Jameson defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Foot fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jameson sprawls well initially but Foot persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Jameson moves forwards but Foot connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Jameson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Foot is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Jameson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Foot defends it easily.
James Jameson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jameson darts in trying to clinch
and Foot counters with a thumping low kick.
Foot uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jameson.
Jameson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Foot fails with the takedown
and Jameson counters with a nice uppercut.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to George Foot.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Foot, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
