The crowd seem to be enjoying Taylor's choice of entrance music: Dark Tranquillity - Therein. Corey Taylor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Taylor postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Johnson to stand up.
Taylor dives in and grabs Johnson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes down on Taylor's head and hops out.
Taylor shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl out of it but Taylor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Johnson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Taylor is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Johnson is just riding it out for now. Taylor eventually gives up the hold.
Johnson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Johnson tries to get out of the position.
Taylor seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Johnson flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Taylor maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Johnson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Taylor has cracked it and Johnson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Taylor!
