Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Babcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kwan Seung Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kwan Seung Park will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babcock swings for the body but Park moves out of range.
Babcock misses with an uppercut.

A right-left combo lands from Park.
Babcock fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Park keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Babcock.
Kwan Seung Park seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Park falls off balance throwing a combination
and Babcock counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Babcock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Park swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Babcock postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Park looks a forlorn figure.
Babcock misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Park is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Park is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Babcock postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Park bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Babcock and the fight is over!
